Game description

Pokemon HeartFelt Gold reworks HeartGold with retiled maps across Johto and Kanto, different wild encounters and trainer teams, and new scripted encounters. It keeps the Nintendo DS foundation while changing what you find on familiar routes and in towns.

The starter choice is Treecko, Torchic or Mudkip, each with its matching Mega Stone. A level cap follows progress through Johto, while reusable TMs, forgettable HMs, National Dex access and expanded shops make training and exploration more flexible.

Scripted special encounters reward exploring beyond regular routes, while bonus battles bring back Gym Leaders, the Elite Four and the Champion. The expanded collection reaches across generations 1 through 9.

Storyline
