Pokemon Petalburg Dynasty

Game description
After defeating the Elite Four, you take over Petalburg Gym when Norman steps down. Choose its type and face a season of 24 challengers, with both authored and generated teams. Your results move you through the Gym ranking ladder, while a poor season can lead to relegation.
Between match days, manage a limited budget, hire staff, develop facilities, scout opponents and book expeditions. Fainting can injure a Pokemon and keep it out of the next match day. Training and recovery matter when a stronger Ace arrives with six fully trained Pokemon and Full Restores.
You can shape a career around Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Terastallization or Dynamax, with an ALL option for every gimmick together. Petalburg Dynasty is about running and defending a Gym rather than travelling through Hoenn to collect badges.

Moving an older save
Back up your in-game .sav file before changing versions. Emulator save states do not transfer directly between differently compiled ROM versions. If you only have a save state, load it in the older ROM, save normally from the in-game menu, back up the resulting .sav and then use that file with v1.11.1. Keep the older ROM until the transfer works.

Frequently asked questions
What do you do in Pokemon Petalburg Dynasty?
Run Petalburg Gym after Norman steps down. Choose its type, face 24 challengers each season, manage staff and facilities, and work your way through the Gym rankings.
Can I add Dynamax to a career already in progress?
Dynamax requires a new career with the option selected during setup. The ALL career option also lets you use every gimmick in one career.
Will my old Petalburg Dynasty save work with v1.11.1?
Back up the in-game .sav file and use it with the new ROM. Save states cannot be moved directly between differently compiled versions. If you only have a save state, load it in the older ROM, make a normal in-game save, back up the .sav and keep the older ROM until the transfer succeeds.
Is Petalburg Dynasty a traditional Emerald badge quest?
No. The focus is managing and defending Petalburg Gym through match days, challenger seasons and facility decisions.
